On Saturday, December 19, 2015 the Winchester HS Wrestling team took third place in the extremely competitive Sons of Italy Wrestling Tournament. Fifteen teams competed in Saturdays all-day wrestling event.
Sachem wrestlers fought for a third place total of 132 points behind Shawsheen Tech with 137 Points. Dedham finished in first with 184 points.
Tournament champions included Anthony Fraumeni and Bryson McEachin who took 1st place in the weight classes of 160 and 113 respectively. Ryan Errico took second place in the 170 weight class. Finishing third was Dion Kourafulos at 106. In fourth place at 195 was Joey Christopher.
